The individual in this role is responsible for greeting customers as they come in for service and safely transporting the vehicles in an orderly and timely fashion.Service Porter Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactively greeting and assisting all customers in a friendly, professional mannerConsistent utilization of proper spiel trained on, with spot checks performedFrequently assist with service write-upsTransport vehicle to designated areas in a safe manor, abiding by all company's safety best practicesActing Concierge for customer inquiries, relaying correct information to them when requestedKeeping the service drive clean, clear of debris, and dryService Porter Requirements and QualificationsGeneral high school diploma or equivalentSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseMultitasking, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksPositive appearanceAble to deliver a fantastic customer experienceValid driver's license and ability to safely operate vehicles18 years of age or olderPass drug screening, background check and MVR checkDealership experience is a plusThis position requires a high level of physical activityAble to lift 50lbs unassistedFull-time benefits offered include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement benefits, and employee discounts.
