CABINET BUILDER- URGENTLY HIRING

Location: Rapid City, SD

Pay: $18-$20/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6 am- 4 pm

This role focuses on building high‑quality custom cabinets, half walls, countertops, and other architectural millwork from machined parts, following detailed shop drawings and blueprints. You will work primarily in a commercial cabinet division, using a variety of woodworking tools and equipment to assemble, laminate, and finish custom pieces for retail, automotive, and casino environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build cabinets, half walls, countertops, and other architectural millwork using machined parts and detailed shop drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and accurately use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements and cuts.
• Operate a variety of saws, including table saws and band saws, as well as small hand tools and power tools for cabinet fabrication and finish carpentry.
• Perform laminating work on cabinets, countertops, and related fixtures to meet quality and design specifications.

Essential Skills:

• Firm understanding of building cabinets and laminating.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Proficient use of a tape measure for precise measurement and layout.
• Ability to operate a variety of saws, including table saws and band saws..

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in cabinetry, carpentry, and finish/trim carpentry.
• Experience in saw operation, including table saws and band saws.
• Woodworking experience in a shop, construction, or production environment.

Work Environment:

You will work primarily in a shop environment focused on building custom counters, cabinets, and casino signage. The overall organization has around 60 employees, with a smaller, more close‑knit team at the Rapid City facility. The role involves hands‑on work with woodworking equipment such as table saws, band saws, and various hand and power tools, as well as loading and unloading trucks and performing detailed finish work on countertops and millwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rapid City, SD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rapid City,SD.
