They are dedicated to three underlying principles: professionalism, responsiveness, and quality.The main responsibilities of the role include the following:Review tax returns and the work of the accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and completeness & provide feedback to staffBusiness entity and complex personal tax return preparationManage workloads and delegate tax work to staff. Monitor tax deadlines to ensure preparednessPerform assessments and offer solutions to clientsOversee various project-based workConduct research and planning then make recommendations to partners and clientsIdentify and recommend new business opportunities for the firmBusiness development and managing client relationshipsProvide assistance to partners on project-based workAct as a resource for interns and tax staff & establish good working relationships with all staff membersRequirementsThe successful candidate will possess the following:Bachelor's degree in accountingMinimum of 5 years' experience in the accounting fieldCPA designation, preferredKnowledge of CCH Axcess and Quickbooks Online software, preferredStrong knowledge of federal and state regulationsStrong computer skills including Microsoft 365 xhyhwjd and the ability to assimilate new programsStrong work ethic and team playerHigh degree of professionalism and the ability to deal sensitively with confidential materialStrong interpersonal communication skills including verbal and writtenDesire to develop and build client relationships, providing a positive client experience as well as to foster the overall growth of the firmAt this time, the good faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $125,000.
