About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead nursing excellence in a patient-centered rural community. The CNO will be a pivotal executive leader, responsible for the strategic vision of patient care, clinical quality and safety, operations management, quality improvement, financial oversight, and engagement with the community and professional organizations. This role requires a visionary leader with a collaborative and team-building approach, who can ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and consumer-responsive healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, a current nursing license, at least 5 years of clinical experience, and 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting. Key responsibilities for the CNO include developing and communicating a strategic vision for patient care, establishing standards of excellence for clinical services, and leading activities to improve patient outcomes and hospital efficiencies. The successful candidate will also be involved in budget planning, managing department resources, and promoting a patient-centered environment. The role demands a leader with strong knowledge of nursing practice, legal and regulatory healthcare issues, and a proven ability to solve complex problems and mentor team members. The CNO will be expected to be a primary architect of patient care standards and nursing practice, ensuring that all practices are evidence-based and meet regulatory compliance.
