Pay Rate: $31.00-$34.00/hour

Position Details

Position : Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Oncology
Specialty : Oncology Nursing
Contract Length : 13 Weeks
Schedule : Monday-Friday
Shift : Day Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per Week
Holiday Coverage Required
Facility: Level III Trauma Center

Requirements

Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
Oncology nursing experience is required.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Current BLS/CPR Certification (required within 30 days of employment).
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to oncology patients under the supervision of a Medical Oncologist.
Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
Monitor patient responses to treatment and document care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.
Adhere to infection control standards and universal precautions while maintaining a safe patient care environment.
