Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Admit patients from the ED and initiate acute care orders
• Complete Admission Assessment and Medication Reconciliation
• Collaborate in a team to reduce patient length of stay
• Ensure patient safety and care with minimal bedside procedures

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step-Down (PCU) levels
• Positive attitude and teamwork focus
• Willingness to consider Charge Nurse responsibilities
