Interventional Radiology Tech | Bristol, Connecticut

Seeking an experienced professional to provide critical support as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a hospital imaging department. In this contract position, you'll contribute to both vascular and neuro interventional procedures, collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality patient care.


Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (40 hours per week)
• On-call every other weekend and rotating call Monday through Friday
• On-call requirement for one holiday if it falls during your contract

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology cases-neuro experience is essential
• Certification and credentials consistent with state and national standards for IR Technologists
• Commitment to patient safety and exceptional procedural outcomes
• Adaptability and willingness to collaborate with various medical professionals
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with EPIC, Synapse, and StarTrack healthcare technology (training available for candidates new to these platforms)

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with and perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures, with a strong focus on neuro interventions
• Ensure accurate imaging and documentation during procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity of care
• Respond efficiently to on-call emergencies and scheduled cases as needed
