We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager dishwasher in Des Plaines, IL!

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort flight trolleys and equipment (plates, bowls, trays, silverware and more) by class and type into plastic bins.
• Wash/run all dirty equipment through the dishwashing machine
• Ensure temperature gauges are reading the correct temperatures
• Stack and sort clean equipment according to company specifications and moving all washed articles into the respective areas
• Clean drains and machines at end of shift and sanitize dishwashing machine and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Supportive Functions

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of DO&CO.

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Keep items separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Follow all company guidelines regarding cleaning and sanitation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to manage through a substantial workload
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
