Customer Relations Specialist
We are currently seeking a customer relations specialist on behalf of a growing, creative company in the columbia area that specializes in custom signage and visual solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Opportunity to grow into a full-time role quickly team-oriented and hands-on work environment work alongside a creative and dynamic team.
What Youll Do:
As a customer relations specialist, youll serve as the key connection between customers, designers, and the operations team. Youll help ensure a smooth and positive experience from initial contact through project completion.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Greet walk-in customers and answer incoming calls professionally
- Assist customers with questions regarding products, services, and project details
- Clearly communicate company policies, timelines, and expectations
- Process payments and manage invoicing accurately
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects stay on track
- Provide updates and maintain communication between customers and team members
- Schedule installations and communicate any updates or changes
- Address customer concerns and provide solutions in a professional manner
- Maintain organized records of projects, payments, and customer interactions
What Were Looking For:
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of invoicing and payment handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM or project system experience is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Team player who works well across departments
Bonus Experience (Not Required):
- Familiarity with design processes or project coordination
- Experience with project management systems such as corebridge
