Base rate: $39.50 per hour. 41 paid days off per year. Location: Wilkes RYDC, 1430 Industrial Park Road, Washington, GA 30673. Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Lead Nurse, responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Guide patient teaching, nursing activities, and ancillary personnel. Promote a customer‑friendly environment and provide superior service to youth, facility staff, family, and outside vendors. Required Qualifications Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia. 1 year of previous experience in a clinical setting. Good organizational and decision‑making skills; good physical and mental health; able to work under pressure; must relate well to patients, security staff, visitors, and co‑workers. Functions within the Georgia Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act. Current Health Care Provider BCLS Certification from American Heart or Red Cross. Ability to lift 50 lbs, norm‑bending, reaching, stooping; stand and sit for long periods; move quickly in emergencies (within 4 minutes); normal hearing and vision; perform BCLS. Security Clearance by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. Shift, Salary, and Benefits Shifts may vary and depend on site availability.
