$140,000–$200,000 base + bonus, direct hire, with a 401(k) match, PTO, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life.

A global construction services company is hiring a Senior Estimator for its Phoenix-area operation in the East Valley.

Estimate COMMERCIAL MECHANICAL INSULATION and FIRESTOPPING for data centers, hospitals, and high-rises from the company's office in the East Valley (Phoenix area).

Direct hire. Onsite, in office.

The work is data centers, hospitals, high-rises, and other commercial buildings, with some semiconductor and cleanroom work. Firestopping is part of the scope. The East Valley is one of the busiest data center and semiconductor construction markets in the country.

Day to day

- Estimate commercial mechanical insulation: duct, pipe, equipment, and plumbing insulation, taken off from plans and specs

- Estimate firestopping at rated wall and floor penetrations, and fire-rated grease duct wrap

- Price material and labor

- Track addenda and revise the estimate

- Prepare proposals for general contractors and mechanical contractors

- Review scope with the customer and defend your number

Requirements

- Experience estimating mechanical insulation

- Experience estimating firestopping and fire-rated grease duct wrap

- Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, and/or FastEST
