OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Kansas City, KS by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Join HMD Trucking from Kansas City, KS to run OTR solo dry van freight coast to coast. Drivers operate modern tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters, and receive solid support from our in-house maintenance team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely handle dry van shipments and deliver them on time across assigned lanes.
• Complete required trip documentation and conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
• Work closely with dispatch to optimize routing and on-time performance.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A with a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.

Starting pay is 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles, plus bonuses and full benefits, with home every two weeks.
