Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Nurse Practitioner position located in Falls Church, Virginia. This role involves providing outpatient mental health services within a designated behavioral health setting. The candidate will be responsible for clinical assessments, discharge planning, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Falls Church, Virginia
• Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per day; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work (SW) or Counseling, licensure in Virginia to practice therapy, BLS certification, CPI certification, experience in providing clinical services to an outpatient population, experience in discharge planning, and the ability to learn new procedures quickly
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in behavioral health, particularly with adult populations; CPI and CPR preferred but training will be provided
• Additional Information: The unit has 10 beds, increasing to 20 after training. Staff includes RN, manager, and mental health clinicians. Procedures performed include certifications required are BLS and CPI. The unit emphasizes a professional dress code (business casual) and adheres to specific guidelines and policies.
