Undergraduate Admissions Counselor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Primary responsibility of conducting student-centered on and off campus recruitment initiatives including presentations, personal interviews, transcript evaluations, financial aid counseling, registration of students, and other related admission counselor duties Foster relationships with area high school guidance counselors, community college counselors, and other appropriate school and community stakeholders to further develop their understanding of the University and its programs Complete accurate transfer credit evaluations and maintain current knowledge relative to transfer credit policies as stated by the Registrar and other University officials Attend all campus-wide recruitment events such as Open Houses, Visit Days, Scholarship Days, New Student Registration, etc. Review and evaluate student admission applications for admission and scholarship opportunities Act as liaison between admitted transfer students and the academic advising office Participate in professional organizations and professional development opportunities to maintain current on trends in college admissions Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement Use social media to promote programs and events (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.) Other responsibilities will be assigned as necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr University of St. Francis
