Part Time Phlebotomist

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development, is hiring a Part Time Phlebotomist – PAML in Federal Way, WA . Work Schedule Monday – Thursday 9:00AM – 1:00PM Saturday 8:00AM – 12:00PM; additional hours as needed Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience. 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the requirement. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
