An Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure efficient stock control and availability. This role involves coordinating with various departments to monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and support inventory-related processes to optimize supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly
- Conduct physical inventory counts and audits to verify data accuracy
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams for stock replenishment
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory data
- Monitor inventory movements and trends to forecast needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control standards
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and documentation
- Support the implementation of inventory management systems and process improvements
