Nurse PractitionerOur client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for their Hilton Head Island, SC location.Responsibilities:Provide primary and family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomesPerform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of careEncourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition managementRequirements:A minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in either a family medicine, primary care practice, or urgent care required.Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditionsSelf-motivated, prioritizes and solves problems, takes initiative, and advocates for their patients and their practiceEffective verbal, written, and electronic communication skillsOutstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-taskInitiative, problem solving ability, adaptability, and flexibilityAbility to work without direct supervision and practice autonomouslyIs proficient with information management and technologyMaster's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.Why Should You Apply?Health benefitsReferral programExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
