Position description The Rady School of Management is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body, and has occasional openings for temporary non-senate faculty (Unit 18 Lecturers). The Rady research areas of Marketing, Economics and Strategy, Management, and Innovation, Technology, and Operations are seeking candidates who will support and enhance our teaching mission. Ideal candidates will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality education. Classes may be in person, online, or mixed. Appointments may be part- or full-time, for 1, 2, or 3 classes per quarter and 1, 2, or 3 quarters in duration in an academic year. A link to the full description of the series is provided for your review: Lecturer and Senior Lecturer Series School : Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as Economics, Management, Marketing, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or other related field, such as Statistics. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of teaching experience or specialized field expertise in a business discipline. Preferred qualifications Graduate degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or other related fields such as Statistics. Subject matter expertise, typically obtained through practical business experience of 5+ years. Teaching experience of 3+ years.
