Join Our Neonatology Team in Macon, GA! Facility Overview: We are seeking a Full-Time Neonatologist to join a highly respected Level III NICU team at a leading children's hospital in beautiful Macon, Georgia. Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal care within a state-of-the-art 70-bed Level III NICU. Manage critically ill and premature newborns requiring advanced neonatal therapies. Utilize advanced NICU technologies and therapies including: High-frequency ventilation Inhaled nitric oxide Total body cooling Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, pediatric subspecialists, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Participate in an attractive rounding and shared call schedule. Deliver care within one of Georgia s six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers. Participate in teaching opportunities through an academic appointment with Mercer University. Focus solely on NICU responsibilities with no newborn nursery duties required. Support evidence-based neonatal care initiatives and quality improvement efforts. Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Completion of Neonatology fellowship training. Experience in Neonatology. Willingness to obtain a Georgia Medical License. Clean malpractice/license history preferred. Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of application). DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start). License and Certification Requirements: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Required. Georgia Medical License or willingness to obtain Required. Fellowship training in Neonatology Required. DEA Certification Required prior to start.
