Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description Job Description We are a periodontal practice seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our small, supportive team on Thursdays. Our fee-for-service practice values the importance of comprehensive periodontal maintenance therapy, providing each patient with a 1-hour appointment for personalized care. We operate with a recall system, use Dentrix electronic dental records, and maintain a high standard for infection control and patient education. This role requires a self-sufficient, team-oriented professional willing to work without a dedicated hygiene assistant and report directly to the Dental Office Manager. Responsibilities Perform periodontal maintenance and patient assessments Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene Maintain accurate record keeping using Dentrix software Capture radiographic images and assist with dental radiography Manage patient recall system efficiently Adhere to sterilization procedures and infection control standards Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene Registered Dental Hygienist license CPR Certification Preferred Qualifications Experience in periodontal maintenance Local anesthesia administration certification Proficiency in dental radiography Familiarity with Dentrix software and Dentrix Imaging Center Company Description We believe in empowering patients through education so they not only understand their periodontal needs, but genuinely want the care that supports their long-term health.
