Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

Location: Western Upper Michigan Peninsula

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 19:00 - 07:00, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week. Weekend hours required every third weekend.

Job Description: The candidate must be experienced in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care. This position requires working in a Family Birthing Center within a Level 3 Trauma facility that is also a verified Chest Pain Center. The center provides comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

Provide care to a variety of patients, including low to high-risk deliveries.
Monitor patients using wireless fetal monitoring equipment.
Support and educate new mothers during their recovery and transition to parenthood.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum.
Certifications required: NRP, BLS, EFM.
Current nursing license as an RN.
