LEAD CRIB ATTENDANT

Job Summary

Assists paint department by acquiring emergency parts from the parts crib and transporting them to the requested area. Assists with the day-to-day functionality of the General Stores Crib. Assists UAW crib attendants by answering questions. Full time, in person position. Shift Hours: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform duties without supervision following established procedures and deadlines.
• Follow-up on reports/instructions to ensure timely completion of indirect material responsibilities.
• Investigate missing parts/documentation.
• Be qualified to operate necessary customer systems to perform job functions (i.e. Microsoft products). Communicate delivery status of out-of-stock and back-order items.
• Help ensure that the right inventory items are at the right place at the right time.
• Other tasks/duties/projects as required.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret operating and planning documents, purchasing forms, requisitions, safety rules, and operating and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems without direction from a supervisor or teammates.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of experience in warehouse/inventory skills.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office products.
