Job TitleThis position preps and assembles fabricated components and materials in conjunction with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Performance, quality preservation, organization and efficiency are essential.Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm (OT as required)What You'll DoUnderstands cross check concepts and inspects product according to Inspections Control Plan. Accurately tags material and product according to product specifications. Can identify hardware components used in assemblies. Can compute decimal equivalents and interchange fractions. Can accurately count and record production activity including picking, transfers, etc. Can follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs. Cross train with paint department. Other duties included but not limited to.What You'll NeedThe individual must have some exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes. Must possess the ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air tools. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Have completed forklift certification training with the safety team to operate a forklift. Can record time accurately including "time and attendance" and "labor reporting" using the data collection system.
