Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Trauma Job Details: • Full-time Nocturnist position delivering overnight surgical care (7P-7A)• Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services• Perform assessments, order/interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans• Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings• Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management• Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams• Document all care using Epic EMR• Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes• Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards• Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education• Must have two years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree in Nursing• Nurse Practitioner Certification by ANCC or AANPCB required• Unrestricted Colorado license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner• Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status• Clean malpractice/license history highly preferred• Must hold BLS certification• No visa sponsorship available (No J-1 or H-1B visas accepted)• Not accepting fresh graduates Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
