Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
• Utilize and document care accurately within Epic and Cerner EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), or TEAM-A certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Proficient and recent experience with both Epic and Cerner EMR systems within the last 5 years
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used within a single role, date ranges for each system must be provided

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
