Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner | Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join and support their Louisiana claims team. In this position, you will handle a challenging caseload while delivering a high standard of service to all stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of Louisiana Workers' Compensation regulations, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sensitive claims with professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of lost time claims, ensuring files are handled proactively from intake through closure.
• Maintain a pending caseload of approximately 75-90 files.
• Perform detailed investigations, review medical and legal records, and implement strategic action plans.
• Work closely with injured employees, employers, attorneys, and medical providers to achieve fair and timely resolutions.
• Provide direction on complex or high-exposure claims, including reserve setting and litigation strategy.
• Partner with leadership to identify claim trends, improve processes, and implement best practices.
• Participate in mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of Workers' Compensation claims experience, including handling complex or litigated claims.
• Active Louisiana Adjuster's License required.
• Strong knowledge of Louisiana Workers' Compensation regulations and processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $85,000 - $105,000+ annually, based on experience
