Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation for PACU

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the full Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures
• Perform nursing assessments and deliver peri-operative education and care throughout the pre- and post-operative continuum
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications in a timely and clinically appropriate manner
• Float as needed across SSSU, PACU, Pre/Post, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion areas
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation for PACU coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Washington or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of two years of experience in SSSU, PACU, Pre-operative, or Post-operative nursing
• Strong clinical skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with conscious sedation monitoring for special procedures
• Familiarity with peri-operative patient education and care coordination
• Ability to adapt quickly across multiple outpatient service areas
