Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Missouri-licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens opportunity at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. This role offers the chance to work in a community hospital emergency department with a diverse patient population and a collaborative clinical environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity
• Coverage dates: June 2026 - ongoing
• Level 3 trauma center setting
• 35 ED beds with fast track beds available
• EMR: Meditech
• Shifts: Days and nights, with additional coverage during summer hours
• Daily coverage: 7a-7p, 1p-11p, 7p-7a, with summer shifts adding 3p-3a
• APP support: 8a-6p, 10a-8p, 9p-7a
• Average patient volume: approximately 2 patients per hour

Schedule Details

• Start: June 2026, ongoing
• Shift coverage includes day and night shifts
• Additional schedule details to be discussed during presentation

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of emergency patients
• Management of acute medical and traumatic presentations
• Collaboration with APPs, nursing staff, and consulting services
• Documentation and order entry within Meditech EMR
• Transfer and admission coordination as needed

Practice Environment This opportunity is based within a Level 3 trauma community hospital emergency department in Osage Beach, Missouri. Providers will work in Meditech EMR and manage a broad spectrum of emergency presentations, supporting a steady patient volume in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

Requirements

• MD degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years ER experience for FP/IM candidates
• Active Missouri medical license
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications
• DEA registration

• Experience working in a community hospital setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
