Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1+ years of Home Care RN experience License: Active Michigan RN License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: Active Driver's License Active Auto Insurance Reliable Vehicle Clean DMV Report Skills Checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (Home Health) 2 Supervisory Reference Forms Completed within the last two years LARA and/or Nursys must state Active Michigan License Description: This position is responsible for assessing health needs and nursing care requirements. Deliver nursing care on all assigned clients. Assess client health needs and nursing care requirements. Direct client assessments by nursing staff. Plan care for assigned clients. Direct the planning of care by nursing staff. Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care. Ensure responsible care is rendered to clients. Implement nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice. Demonstrate competence in nursing care of neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with IVs, wound vacs, and central lines is highly preferred.
