Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Travel Contract

Location: Lowell, MA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $36/hour
Weekly Pay: $1,440 (Including Stipend)
Weekly Stipend: $840
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Overtime: Available After 40 Hours

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lowell, Massachusetts. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and restore functional abilities. Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities.
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and recovery techniques.
Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current BLS certification.
Previous clinical or travel experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
