CAGE CASHIER

Job Description:Responsible for the accurate handling, accountability, and security of assigned funds while protecting company assets. Perform fills, credits, even-money exchanges, and other cage transactions in accordance with company policies and applicable gaming regulations. Prepare funds for slot machine payouts, complete paid-in and paid-out documentation, cash checks, and redeem chips and tickets. Accurately count and reconcile chips, checks, and currency to balance the assigned bank at the end of each shift.Job Requirements:Process currency exchanges, cash E-tickets, slot payouts, and other cage transactions accurately and efficiently.Issue employee banks to assigned team members and departments in accordance with established procedures.Perform fills, credits, even-money exchanges, and other key cage transactions in compliance with gaming regulations and company procedures.Maintain accurate accountability for all assigned funds and company assets.Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and following established procedures.Demonstrate strong attention to detail when handling cash, documentation, and financial transactions.Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.Complete all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling financial and employee information.Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and professional communication skills.Basic knowledge of SDS or Casino Marketplace is preferred.Respond appropriately and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints.Maintain an open line of communication with Management regarding transactions, discrepancies, concerns, and other operational matters.Maintain a positive, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests, team members, vendors, and other individuals.Follow all company policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable gaming regulations.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education and Experience:Must be at least 21 years of age.High School Diploma or GED required.Previous cash-handling experience required.Working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and the ability to follow applicable gaming regulations, policies, and procedures.Previous experience in a casino, banking, financial services, or other cash-handling environment preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle and account for cash and financial transactions.Additional Requirements:Proficiency with a 10-key calculator and strong computer skills.Ability to learn and effectively use company-specific software, systems, and equipment.Ability to interact with intoxicated or impaired guests in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.Must be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as operationally required.Ability to work effectively and professionally with team members, supervisors, management, guests, and vendors.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.Must be able to work in an environment that may include exposure to secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, dust, and other environmental conditions.Must be able to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and guest information.Must comply with all applicable gaming regulations, company policies, procedures, and internal controls.Required Work Cards / Registrations:Gaming RegistrationMachinery, Equipment, Programs, and Software Used:PaycomCompany-specific cage, cash-handling, and gaming systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Casino-Fandango
