Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN for a day-shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Home health setting providing in-home patient care
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Epic EMR
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (ME or compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• AHA certifications accepted if non-AHA equivalents are completed prior to start
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide direct home health nursing care to patients in their residences
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and eligible at a reduced rate
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimized, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited while on duty
