COST ACCOUNTANT

We are looking fora Cost Accountant to join our team!You will be responsible for preparingand analyzing financial records for our company. Responsibilities Gathers and compiles cost information and maintains database concerning expenses. Develops systems and procedures for accumulation systems and/or Cost Accounting functions. Determines fixed costs. Predicts, plans, and records variable costs, such as purchases of raw material, labor, and operation costs. Reviews and analyzes actual costs to identify inaccuracies. Prepares necessary departmental budgeting reports. Reviews, analyzes, and reports actual profit margins. Performs month-end and year-end closings with assistance. Determines and recommends cost-effective solutions. Provides product sample costs for Marketing and General Accounting. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in accounting or other related fields Fundamental knowledge of GAAP SAGE 100 Contractor (REQUIRED) Experience with current computer accounting programsand reporting tools Detail and deadline-oriented Strong analytical and problem solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Page Mechanical Group, Inc.
