Junior Software Developer (Remote - US & Canada)

Overview

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates based in the United States or Canada. Whether you're a recent graduate or someone looking to kick-start your software development career, this is a great chance to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world applications in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications
Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices
Collaborate with senior developers, QA, and product teams
Troubleshoot and debug software issues
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and Agile processes
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1-2 years of experience in software development (personal projects and internships welcome!)
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have: Exposure to web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Some experience working with APIs or databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada
