Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging, within a dynamic hospital setting. The role requires producing high-quality images to assist in accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate GE X-ray, fluoroscopy, and specialized imaging equipment, including C-Arm and O-Arm systems.
- Perform X-ray procedures for trauma, stroke, and general diagnostic needs, ensuring accurate positioning and image quality.
- Collaborate with radiology staff and clinical teams to coordinate patient care and fulfill imaging requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and radiation protection standards.
- Document procedures accurately within the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.
- Maintain equipment readiness and report any technical issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and BLS certification.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, including fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures.
- Possess strong knowledge of radiology protocols for trauma, stroke, and ER settings.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Be adaptable to rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call hours.
- Display a hard-working attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
