Serve as the Company's primary in-house legal resource, providing practical counsel on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development projects, and risk management initiatives. Work closely with executive leadership and ownership to support strategic growth while reducing reliance on outside counsel and creating greater efficiency across the organization. Partners with ownership and business leaders to proactively identify risks, negotiate favorable agreements, and support the Company's continued growth strategy. The Background That FitsLicensed to practice law in North Carolina 5+ years of experience focused on commercial real estate law in an in-house setting Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, leasing, development agreements, easements, title matters, and entity structuring. Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract review experience. Ability to provide practical business-oriented legal advice rather than purely technical legal guidance. Demonstrated experience working directly with executives, business leaders, lenders, developers, and external counsel. Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance legal protection and business objectives. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently as an in-house legal resource.
