We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a busy litigation team on a Long-term Contract basis. This opportunity is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can support attorneys across a broad range of civil litigation matters. The role offers hands-on involvement in active cases, from early case development through trial preparation, while working closely with a collaborative onsite team.

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day litigation support to attorneys throughout the full lifecycle of civil cases, from initial intake through trial readiness.
• Prepare, revise, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and business correspondence for filing and service.
• Oversee case records and maintain orderly file systems, document indexes, and discovery tracking tools to keep matters progressing efficiently.
• Draft, serve, and help manage discovery requests and responses while monitoring follow-up items and production deadlines.
• Track court dates and procedural deadlines, helping ensure filings and case activity remain compliant with applicable state and federal rules.
• File legal documents with courts and coordinate submission requirements for both state and federal matters.
• Assemble exhibits, witness materials, evidentiary documents, and trial binders to support hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal and factual research, assist with case evaluation, and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and outside parties as needed.• At least 5 years of hands-on paralegal experience supporting litigation matters.
• Demonstrated background in civil litigation, including work on active cases beyond the pre-litigation stage.
• Strong experience drafting and responding to discovery and managing related case materials.
• Working knowledge of filing procedures and deadlines in both state and federal courts.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments effectively in a high-volume legal practice.
• Experience with trial preparation and litigation support tools is highly valued.
• Plaintiff personal injury experience is strongly preferred, and labor or employment litigation exposure is a plus.
• Paralegal certificate preferred, along with proficiency in case management software and general litigation support processes.
