Adminstrative Assistant

Our client, a leading organization in industrial operations, is seeking an Administrative Assistance to join their team. As an Administrative Assistance, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistance

Location: LAKE CHARLES, LA

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday-Friday-8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Front Desk & Reception: Greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, correspondence, data entry, filing, scanning and maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area.

• Administrative Support: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, manage office security (visitor sign-in/badges).

• Maintenance Support: Assist the Maintenance department with clerical support

• Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or maintenance helper preferred.

• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Data entry skills - type 30WPM

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for dealing with staff, visitors, and vendors.

• Safety Mindset: Familiarity with or willingness to learn industrial safety procedures.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests in a fast-paced environment

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or industrial operations.

• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
