Behavioral Health Therapist

Job Summary Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist in the Fargo, ND area. Sign on Bonus up to $15,000. Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high‑quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. Location ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location. Responsibilities Lead an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community. Complete assessments and service plans. Organize, direct, and guide care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. Provide skills training, individual, family, and group therapy. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office and in the community. Educate and consult to families, community members, interns, and residents. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degrees in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or any other Master’s degree approved by a North Dakota Board, and ND licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). OR a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners. Human Relations Counselor: Master’s degree in social work with ND licensure as an LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners, or a master’s degree in counseling with ND licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) by the ND Board of Counselor Examiners. OR a master’s degree in counseling and LAPC licensure OR a master’s degree in counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy – LAMFT licensure (if applicant is far along with the process to obtain their LPCC/LMFT within two years from the date of hire). Valid driver’s license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new‑hire orientation.
