Lead Compounding Technician 2nd Shift

Location: TX - Sugar Land, 1075 W Park One Dr #100, Sugar Land, TX 77478, USA The Lead Compounding Technician oversees planning, scheduling, and daily execution for the compounding/manufacture of sterile and non-sterile products in the controlled and classified areas. The incumbent is responsible for daily coordination and working schedules for the compounding teams assigned to specific areas. In partnership with site leaders, sponsors a safety, quality and compliance-focused site culture that embraces RFT (right first time) and CI (continuous improvement) expectations. This is a full‑time role for our 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimal overtime requirements and based in our Sugar Land, TX location. The position is safety sensitive and may be subject to random drug testing in accordance with applicable laws. What the Lead Compounding Pharmacy Technician does each day: Directly support manufacturing operations, including scheduling, cleaning, and preparation of manufacturing hoods to perform compounding activities. Coordinate the working schedules for the compounding teams as per the production schedule. Assist compounders on batch record completion and record accuracy. Manage production WIP inside the cleanroom to ensure continuous production/product flow. Coach compounders to utilize correct and appropriate aseptic techniques at all times. Identify adverse or negative trends within the group/employee and raise them effectively to supervisor. Support disinfection of materials prior to transporting into ISO 7 Room (Clean Room) and to manufacturing hoods. Support Operations on completion and resolution of process deviations, incident investigations, and CAPA. Ensure timely completion of batch record documentation, manufacturing operation logs, and cleaning logs, while complying with safety requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices (21CFR210 & 211), Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), and company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with Operations, Quality, and other functional support staff. Exhibit strong attention to detail and carefully follow compounding protocols and all SOPs related to the job. Take initiative when appropriate and use time wisely. Display a passion for connecting their work to a greater purpose. Minimum Requirements for this Role: High School diploma or equivalent. Successfully complete a drug and background check. Willing and able to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation. 18 + years of age. Familiarity with and comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds. Wearing hair net, shoe covers, facemask, sterile gown, and gloves, etc. Understand stringent regulations concerning phone use, jewelry, makeup, and fingernail length/type. 3 years of direct IV compounding experience. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Quva cannot sponsor work visas. Any of the Following Will Give You an Edge: Certified in ACPE sterile products. Experience in pharmacy compounding. Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Knowledge of ISO 5/7 cleanroom gowning.
