Senior Associate

Morgan & Jones PLLC is a growing litigation firm dedicated to representing individuals in plaintiff-side employment law and personal injury matters. As our practice expands, we are seeking a full-time Senior Associate who wants to build a practice and take ownership of the future of a growing firm. We're looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful and share in the rewards. The role: This is a full-time, on-site, role. This role is ideal for lawyers with 5 - 8 years experience who are looking for an opportunity to pivot to an opportunity that will provide the kind of autonomy and stake in the outcome of your work that big law or volume-based firms don’t offer. As a senior associate, you'll have the opportunity to review and select cases for representation and to handle those cases for clients from intake to trial. You'll have a pipeline of quality opportunities, and the resources and support of experienced litigators to help you grow a practice. You'll also have the support to help grow your own pipeline of referral sources and develop a consistent stream of quality cases. What we’re looking for: We want someone who is self‑motivated, comfortable taking initiative, compassionate and client‑focused, committed to building a practice, and entrepreneurial in spirit. The ideal candidate will have significant litigation and client counseling experience, especially in the employment law arena, with a preference for those who have had significant lead‑counsel responsibility for communicating with clients, developing litigation strategy, conducting pre‑trial discovery, drafting dispositive motion briefs, preparing for and participating in trials.
