We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to support our Roseville-based team. Although this role is currently remote, it is affiliated with our Roseville, CA location. Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite in Roseville, CA on a full-time basis if business needs or company policy require a return to the office in the future.We are looking for candidates with experience in GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN), ideally coupled with an Epic Stork, ClinDoc, or OpTime certification. We would also consider candidates with prior Device Integration or Biomedical (BioMed) experience, as this background is highly relevant and transferable to the role.Performs various duties relating to information systems applications including the design, build, implementation, support, and testing of computer software and related processes. Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of clinical workflows. Works with project and support teams to ensure appropriate development, training, support, and evaluation of major computer applications.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Associate’s/Technical Degree with clinical focus or equivalent combination of education/related experience: RequiredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredThree years’ healthcare IT application/technical experience: RequiredThree years' applicable Epic application experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Epic Certification/Accreditation in area of responsibility: RequiredEssential Functions:Utilizes clinical knowledge to influence decision-making, guide build practices, and formulate appropriate workflows. Maintains moderately complex system software utilizing established standards and departmental protocols, to meet user requests/specifications. Evaluates user requests for special enhancements to system software. Works with customers to gather specifications for the purchase, development, and installation of system software. Maintains service level agreements with various end-user departments and enterprise business units.Coordinates analysis of documentation and workflows in departments, and designs/redesigns system components to support appropriate workflows. Assists in analyzing existing methods and developing alternatives to increase operations and production efficiency. Performs a needs assessment for complex workflows, customers, and/or clinical/revenue areas. Analyzes and documents reporting needs of end users.Identifies potential process and/or department-specific risks and assists in strategies to mitigate or resolve them. Develops and follows project work plans. Leads project meetings and works cooperatively with team members to coordinate assigned duties with the overall program and related projects.Researches, documents, and facilitates resolution to issues reported by end-users. Tests system software per checklist guidelines and participates in the development of test scenarios. Collaborates with technical teams to define hardware/network requirements and to research and problem-solve technical issues. Presents training to a variety of audiences. Ensures that system documentation is current and available to the customer and that customers are educated as to where to find it. Assesses how users are progressing with their use of system applications and assists with optimization training to further develop user proficiency, efficiency, and satisfaction. Leads optimization activities to ensure staff effectively use the systems.Handles ongoing on call duties for one or more applications which generate Incidents outside of business hours. Provides on call for support of the most critical applications. Troubleshoots and resolves system issues escalated by the help desk.
