Job Title: Warehouse Parts Room Cleaner

Job Description

This contract role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized, and safe parts room within a warehouse environment. You will perform general labor tasks, including cleaning and basic inspection of parts, to support efficient operations and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clean-up of the parts room, ensuring all areas remain clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Clean shelving, storage bins, and work surfaces to maintain a tidy and safe workspace.
• Conduct basic inspection of parts for visible defects, damage, or irregularities as directed.
• Handle parts carefully during cleaning and inspection to prevent damage or loss.
• Assist with organizing and arranging parts in designated locations to support easy access and inventory control.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines while performing all tasks.
• Lift and move items up to 25 pounds as needed to complete cleaning and inspection duties.
• Report any issues with parts, equipment, or cleanliness to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a consistent workflow throughout the shift to meet daily cleaning and inspection expectations.

Essential Skills

• Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to carry out detailed cleaning duties in a parts room or storage area.
• Basic inspection skills to identify visible defects or irregularities in parts.
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning and inspecting items.
• Capability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Reliability in following instructions and adhering to safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse cleaning or parts handling is a plus.
• Comfort working around shelving, storage racks, and various warehouse equipment.
• Good organizational habits to help maintain an orderly parts room.

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse environment, primarily within the parts room and surrounding storage areas. You will work on-site during a daytime shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds, as well as working around shelving, racks, and standard warehouse equipment. The environment may include moderate noise and varying temperatures typical of warehouse facilities, and appropriate work attire suitable for manual labor and cleaning tasks is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of Mason, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
