Speech Language Pathologist

The position involves providing outpatient evaluation and treatment for adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Experience in conducting fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallow (FEES) is preferred. Candidates should be skilled in performing various assessments and interventions related to dysphagia, dysarthria, and other communication disorders. A private office for seeing outpatients is available within the clinic. The position involves access to a wide variety of testing and treatment materials. An interdisciplinary team environment is emphasized, collaborating with occupational and physical therapists. The daily patient census will include approximately 9 patients, with an expected number of visits per day also being 9. Candidates should be prepared to work with adults and geriatrics, addressing their specific rehabilitation needs. Proficiency with common charting systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The role does not require weekend coverage.
