CNC Machine Operator Trainee - Granite, Quartz & Stone Fabrication

Description

Granex Industries is hiring a CNC Machine Operator Trainee for our stone fabrication shop in Solon, Ohio.

This is a hands-on training position where you will learn to operate CNC equipment used to cut and fabricate granite, quartz, porcelain, and natural stone countertops. The position will train in both our Robotic SawJet Department and CNC Router Department .

Prior CNC experience is helpful, but not required . We are looking for someone reliable, hard-working, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities

• Train to operate CNC stone fabrication equipment
• Assist with machine setup, loading, and unloading
• Follow shop tickets, job details, and production schedules
• Safely move and handle stone materials
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
• Work as part of a production team

Requirements

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a loud, wet, manufacturing environment
• Able to perform physical work throughout the day
• Basic math, measuring, and computer skills helpful
• Prior shop, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or CNC experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
