Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological status, integrating input from the healthcare team. Develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team involvement, including education and follow-up support. Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, managing resources and prioritizing patient needs. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary, and ensuring positive outcomes. Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, documenting accurately, and promoting the nursing profession. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact licensure or transfer requirements. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: BSN from an accredited institution. Skills include patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and accountability. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, read, hear, communicate effectively, and perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving patients and equipment.
