Demand Planning Manager

Role Summary The AS Beauty Demand Planning Manager is a critical, cross-functional role responsible for building and maintaining an item level forecast across multiple brands and sales channels that connects shipment data, promotional calendars, sales channel insights and the financial goals of the company. The Planner will own the monthly demand review process and meeting with key stakeholders highlighting risks and opportunities and ensuring cross-functional alignment. Additionally, they will be responsible for launch planning including consolidating launch forecasts, recommending order quantities, and overall inventory strategy. Job Description Heavy data analytics; building a rolling 24-month forecasts by SKU by Sales channel and analyzing trends, highlighting risks and opportunities, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. Monthly demand review meetings across multiple sales channels including key stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally to reach consensus on monthly forecasts by category, accounting for trend, seasonality, and promotional activity. Ensure forecast alignment between sales plan and financial plan falls within target. Monthly review of forecasting KPIs includeing accuracy and bias to ensure forecasts are being adjusted accordingly and proactively. Responsible for managing master data required for demand planning. Ensuring forecasts are reflecting of latest SKU assortment dictated by Brand Merchandising team. This includes ensuring SKU level forecasts are aligned with launch and discontinuation timing. Manage risk to excess and obsolete inventory by proactively reviewing inventory stock position and root cause analysis. Measure demand planning KPIs in an effort to improve and exceed business objectives as it relates to the Planning organization, including Inventory and Excess. Required Qualifications 4- year academic degree in relevant field or related job experience Minimum of 3-5 years of planning experience in a demand planning role, ideally within the Beauty or CPG Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with demand planning or ERP tools (Oracle, SAP, or similar). Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and supply chain best practices. Experience supporting S&OP/IBP processes within a Supply Chain organization. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Able to work independently and self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn in a high pace environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Preferred Qualifications DTC and Amazon forecasting experience preferred.
