About the Position

Job Title: RN - Orthopedic Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and Chemotherapy Certification preferred Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year current acute care Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience - BLS certification Description: This is a travel RN position in the Orthopedic Surgery specialty. The unit handles various orthopedic and spine procedures. Candidates should possess strong team player qualities and compassion. Flexibility and willingness to float to different units is essential. Patient ratios on the unit are approximately 1:5 for both day and night shifts. This position offers a great opportunity to learn about diverse medical issues, both acute and chronic. Working environment is supportive, with a focus on teamwork and caring for one another. Candidates without the minimum experience will not be considered for the role.
