Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with speech and language needs for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this full-time role (37.5 hours per week), you will work directly with a K-5th grade caseload of approximately 20-25 students, providing vital services that empower young learners to reach their communication goals.

This position values experience working in educational settings and especially welcomes candidates holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), given the robust number of evaluations required. However, strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are also encouraged to apply—supervision can be provided for individuals who demonstrate a passion for school-based therapy and a commitment to student progress. A Professional Educator License (PEL) is required for this position.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid and current Professional Educator License (PEL)
• ASHA CCCs preferred, but equally considering strong CFs and SLPAs (supervision available)
• Experience working with K-5th grade students and conducting evaluations is highly desired
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility, collaboration, and a student-centered approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to an elementary age group
• Perform evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough records
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document student progress, updating interventions as necessary
