Probate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Probate Attorney in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing probate matters and resolving mortgage defaults involving deceased borrowers. This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling a significant caseload and contributing to the firm's growth and reputation. Duties Manage and draft probate filings, including petitions, inventories, and accountings. Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines. Handle a significant volume of cases in creditor's rights. Develop and maintain industry relationships as a trusted advisor. Appear in court and travel as required. Requirements Member in good standing of the Texas State Bar. 5+ years of experience in probate and mortgage default resolution. Strong leadership and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Proficient in drafting legal documents and court filings. Excellent verbal and written communication.
